USA Environmental is seeking two (2) UXO Technician I's for its long-term project at Ft. Johnson in Louisiana (Formerly known as Ft. Polk.). This project's work schedule is two (2) weeks onsite; and two (2) weeks offsite. The project work hours are six (6) 10-hour workdays.
**This is a long-term project; therefore a minimum of a one-year commitment is preferred**
The next rotation dates are April 21, 2026 - May 8, 2026 . Subsequent rotation dates will be scheduled on a consistent bi-weekly basis.
Qualifications, Training, and Experience: The following minimum qualifications, training and experience requirements must be met or exceeded to qualify for assignment to this position:
• U.S. Citizen unless exception approved by the U.S. Government;
• Valid state driver’s license;
• Ability to handle in a safe manner the vehicle assigned to drive within and in the vicinity of the site;
• Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia, or Graduate of a UXO-TI Course or the EOD assistant’s course;
• On-the-job training including, but not limited to familiarity with the process, procedures, and equipment (e.g., geophysical) used for conducting MEC-related activities;
• Never been removed from a MEC assignment for personnel reliability reasons or unsatisfactory performance of duties, substantiated by official documentation
